The Books of Adam is a collective name of several apocryphal books relating to Adam and Eve. The Book of Adam or 'Contradiction of Adam and Eve', denigrated as 'a romance made up of Oriental fables' by the 1913 edition of the Catholic Encyclopedia. Chapter 5 - Generations: Adam to Noah. This is the record of the descendants of Adam. When God created human beings, he made them in the likeness of God; he created them male and female. When they were created, he blessed them and named them humankind. Adam was one hundred and thirty years old when he begot a son in his likeness, after his image; and he named him Seth. Adam lived eight hundred.

It was first translated from the 6th century Ethiopian version into German by August Dillmann,[1] and into English by Solomon Caesar Malan.[2]

- The 'Testament of Our First Parents', cited by Anastasius the Sinaïte.[5]
- The Book of Adam (Adamgirk) by Arakel of Siwnik (Arakel Sunetsi), a book of poetry on Adam and Eve. It was written in 1403, and first published in 1799. It was first translated to English by Michael E. Stone.[6]
